With ‘summer’ clearly on its way out (what on earth?!)…We have decided that we are going to make the best of it and look forward to autumn, and all the fashion fun that comes with this change of season. But, instead of shoving our summer clothes to the back of our wardrobes, and dragging our warmer clothes out from the depths of our closets – we love to find pieces that can work in our wardrobe all year round – ones that can stay on their hangers 365 days a year. And, if that item is made by a small up-and-coming environmentally conscious British brand, then even better!
We first came across Partners in Crime Style, otherwise known as P.I.C Style at a pop up shop for small British labels and fell in love with the collection. Made in a local London factory and not mass produced, all the fabrics are locally sourced, sustainable and organic. The main ethos of PIC Style is about creating a capsule collection that transcends trends, seasons and time. And this De Beau Cami does exactly that.
Made from one hundred per cent bamboo silk, this cami is so flattering and suits every body shape. It is the little design details on this cami that really sets it apart, and makes it fashionable and yet also timeless. The lace panels contrast with the silk beautifully, and the subtle sheen on the bamboo silk adds a touch of glamour. The clever element about this cami is that it can be worn two ways as the design on one side is different to the other side.
It’s so important to support small businesses, and up-and-coming designers need our support more than ever, so we feel so excited to have discovered PIC style. A rotatable cami is something every designer should come up with, so trail blaze your way forward in the fashion stakes with this muti tasking little number.
