It’s getting close to that time of year again when our Instagram feeds get bombarded by Autumn and Winter wear and every fashionista starts talking about transitional, cross season “must have” pieces. Well, until our kids go back to school and nursery (and until I have tidied up the skiwear that has been lurking in a mound on the loft room floor since March) I have no time to think about what piece belongs in which season or what will be fashionable in January 2017. That was, until we found this.
“This” is the Zara Midi Length lace skirt– It comes in two colours – red and black. It is easy to wear; forgiving; cheap and flattering; and looks runway ready at high street prices. Giving coverage with a hint of skin under the lace, it flatters where it should and covers enough so you can feel comfortable. The stretchy waist is super forgiving and if either of us were pregnant, the elasticated waist would see us though the first few months and would accompany us on that charming post pregnancy stage as well. Just throw on a jumper or sweatshirt and you are good to go.
Now all I need to do is order those vacuum storage bags for the ski wear and my Instagram can happily be bombarded with this year’s must have fur bomber.
